Happy Birthday Pink Saturday!

Hi Bloggerettes!! It's celebration time!  It's Pink Saturday's Birthday
and you are all invited to join in on all the fun and pinkalicious
postings!!

Be sure and stop by our host blog, How Sweet The Sound
and join in on the big celebration bash!

I haven't much to share today.  My brother is visiting and we have been running around and shopping.  But, I do want to share this old rocking chair.
It was a pitiful little thing with no seat.  Just springs.
So out comes the white paint and the sander.

My little wooden flower box was the perfect size for the seat
so, temporarily it will be on the porch as a flower container.
Later on it will probably get a seat cushion and back
but I love it just the way it is.
And the best part of all is that is was "Free!"
The habitat manager gave it to me because they were going to throw it away! arghhhhhhhhh!  At least they know a junkanista
when they see one!

Enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend celebration!!
~~hugs~~

Hi Sissie, I love old rocking chairs too. I can just imagine how many songs were sung to sweet little babies, how many stories were told to a grandchild and how many cups of coffee were enjoyed on a beautiful spring morning with the sun coming up in a beautiful pink sky.. Thanks for the memories. Sheila
