A Few Good Finds

Hi Bloggerettes!  Dog-gone-it, I didn't find much of anything at the yardsales and thrifts this week!  How about you?  I guess the only way we can see what everyone else found is to go over to see Linda at Coastal Charm's Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays!

I fluffed up my booth today.  We have been so busy at Miss Minnie's that it has been hard keeping it full of good stuff.
I love this charming little picture frame, but it had to get the heirloom white treatment...

Whenever I'm lucky enough to find a little vintage shelf with rust, then I'm lucky enough!

And, the little vintage lamb was an extra bonus!
Isn't he cute?
Of course, I had to sneek in a picture of some pillows
I've been working on, burlap and rosettes, of course.

Of course, what's a Monday without a little pink to make us smile...
My lovely crepe myrtle tree in my front yard...

Be sure and stop by Linda's at Coastal Charm for Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays! for some more wonderful finds.

                                            ~~hugs~~

Sissie had a litle lamb . . . .

I found some great vintage items Saturday at the Discovery Shop. Did you see the post? I missed out on a typewriter, suitcase and hat . . . next year I know to take a BIG BOX and where to head to first . . people were grabbing things left and right, the first 15 minutes was like a madhouse!!! I was like a deer caught in the headlamps, LOL, but next year I'll know!!

I went thrifting and found two hand made beautiful 26" doilies for 50 cents each! Love them, but that's it for the bargain spending... Now on the "not so thrifty spending" side I picked up an ice cream maker-I made homemade banana ice cream today-Woo Hoo!

Sissie girl, you just amaze me with how much you get done in a day, a week, a year! You must sew constantly. I love your new pillows.
Your space at Miss Minnies is so perfect. I love how it all looks put together.
Now get some sleep...you have sewing to do!

Sissie, I must tell you if I lived close enough I would be in your sweet shop every chance I got. Your pillows, of course, are always heavenly. I, too, love crepe myrtles, in fact, I would only have them in my yard if it were up to me. I have several but previous owner had planted other trees. Your crepe myrtle is lovely. Have the best of weeks, sweet friend! Sending lots of hugs and love your way! Vicki

Sissy, what sweet finds you show in your shop. No wonder you have been busy! I so agree about white wire shelves. I love them when they show a little rust. The lamb is too cute! Very 1950's I think.
Take care, dear, and stay cool!

Oh, the little lamb is so adorable and I'm in love with that picture frame.

Your Crape Myrtle looks gorgeous. I have two mini ones, they grow only two feet tall, but this year only one limb bloomed. I guess they didn't care for the move from Florida to Georgia, so I'm hoping next year they'll have settled in.

Hi Sissie!
Oh, your booth looks so pretty and enchanting! It was a tough thrifting weekend. I found a couple of goodies at the flea market so, I was happy about that.

Everything looks better in heirloom white and all your things at your booth are as always lovely. I wanted to finally get a chance, belatedly, to stop by to say thank you for your kind words of encouragement about opening my shop. Your booth is one of the places that I have drawn inspiration from. All my stuff is vintage although the new pillows I make use vintage buttons and other embellishments if not actual vintage fabric. It is hard to find vintage items and even harder to let go of some of the super treasures that I do find. All in all, hard work but I am having fun. Again thank you for your comments. By the way, I finally did post photos today.

Hi Sissie......stopped in to say hi. I would so love to do a little shopping in your little booth. Perhaps is there a way to do that . You give us sneak peaks but don't let us know how we can purchase if interested.

Just wondering???
