It's been terribly hot here as well but your porch looks like a great place to drink a nice tall glass of cold lemonade. I'll be over in 10 minutes! =)

Hi Sissie :) LOVE those rocking chairs...those are exactly the kind I want to have on our covered porch! The pillows add such a nice cozy touch, but too bad it's too hot to go out and enjoy them. Hopefully you will get a slight reprieve from the heat soon.

Stay cool my friend :)
Warmest hugs, Brenda

For one day, just one day this summer I want to say "It's too hot!"

Weather has been bad, very bad....by California standards anyway!

Beautiful pillows! A storm blew through late Sunday afternoon and the humidity has been very low since then-LOVE THAT! Of course, that will change tomorrow...

Sissie -
Your rocking chairs look very inviting, but I'm wilting as it is here....that's a little too hot for me. How about in the evening with a tall glass of iced tea or lemonade?
Hugs,
Toni ♥

PS I just had to add that the word verification is "diddler" too funny...made me laugh. On hot days it's ok to be a diddler and do nothing. LOL

The pillows are lovely even if you can't use them right away. Thank Heaven for air conditioning. I remember growing up in Wisconsin before we had it, with humidity like that. I love my mom for wanting it and my dad for getting it for her!

Sissie! I'll take your 85 degrees and raise you 10! :) We'd love an 85 degree day here in Florida. It truly is just waaaayyy too hot. I'm ready to pack up and head north! :)

Your porch DOES look great! Mine is being pressure washed tomorrow and I think I'll be in the same boat with you -- wishing I could actually enjoy it instead of running for the a/c! :)

XOXO

Well, at least your porch is pretty even if you can't be out on it in the heat. The pillows are very pretty and pretty soon you'll get to enjoy peaceful time out there in the mornings.

Hugs,
Nancy

Your rocking chairs look so inviting Sissie. My hubby says we qualify as a nursing home 'cause we have 5 single rockers, one three seater on the end of the porch and a bench. tee hee But it's hot here too, the heat index has been 100-105 for the past week. ick It'll be nice when it cools off some.

Here in Texas seems like we only have two seasons...hot...and hotter! I can usually take the heat up to about 90 but this year that would be a cold snap!
Love the pillows...such a pretty place to just sit and dream...or glow!

Sissie....I know how you feel! It might as well be the "dead of winter"! Today is going to be another scorcher but after the rain tonight and cool front it is suppose to be pretty nice for the rest of the week! Yay! Maybe I will be able to enjoy sitting out on my new adirondack chairs! Your outside porch looks so inviting, I wish the same for you too!~Hugs, Patti

Hi Sissie, your porch looks lovely...so inviting.

I love to sit on our porch also and have been up until about the last week or so, it is too hot. I just can't take it.

Here's to cooler weather coming,
Barb ♥

I know how you feel - this is the time of the summer that no matter how pretty your porch is, you can't spend any time out there! Yours sure is pretty!

That the sad thing. We all make our outdoor spaces as pretty as our indoor spaces and then it's too darn hot to sit out there and enjoy it! We are totally having the same thing here on Long Island, Sissie! This morning I had to stop weeding because I was wiping more sweat off my face than I was pulling weeds. I'll try again tonight though.

Well, I had to pop in and tell you thank you. I stopped by to see your friend Donna and she does indeed have Busy Hands! I love the little dresses for Africa project and downloaded the pattern. Thank you sweet Sissie for introducing your friend to us and for leading me to a most enjoyable project to begin!

Summertime and air conditioning, that's how I plan to spend these hot summer days, but your rockers and pillows are beautiful!

How very pretty! Oh how I am longing for cooler weather.

I suppose you could get up and watch the sun come up, then it could be cool enough! It looks like a great place to sit in milder temperatures!

Hi Sissie, I'm not going to say anything about the warm weather, for us here in Michigan I'm just soaking it all in... Our summers are short and believe it or not I'm really enjoying the hot days and I don't even have air conditioning... hmmm isn't that crazy? Anyways your pillows look adorable on the chairs and your right very inviting... maybe I'll come over and mess with you a little bit. haha
