Just Random Stuff....

Hi Bloggerettes!
Wanna see a cute little vintage dresser I found at auction.
You will have to take my word that it was pitiful and ugly because I get in too big of a hurry to take a before photo.

This little rocker was my Mom's childhood chair.  It's just plain sweet!

I made a "sissie pillow to show you....

Flowers on my patio.  I played around with photoscape's
editing with textures......

Not much exciting going on around here right now, so my posts are sorta blah.  Glad you're hanging in though because I'm sure hoping for a spark of creativity so I can wow you!  Stay tuned, I just know it's going to happen.
                                          ~~hugs~~

Oh Sissie Girl...
If this is blah, then it is the most exquisite blah I have ever seen.

I love this gorgeous little dresser, and the white is definitely the right choice. I love it. The glass knobs are so cute and I simply adore the 2 little drawer pulls on bottom.

Now that little chair is something else. How wonderful that it belonged to your sweet Momma.

Now you know I am your biggest Sissie pillow fan, so I love that share. SO pretty and soft.

Lastly I love the play with the photo. Makes it truly look like a painting. Gorgeous.

Have a beautiful evening sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Sissie...I know exactly what that dresser looked like before....two toned wood and not real pretty.....good job with the paint contrast....also, I have my Grandaddy's rocker which is almost identical to the one you have....I painted it white too!! And the photo you altered.....looks just like an antique lithograph....very nice.......

You always have something gorgeous to share. I have my husband's childhood rocker. It's red so I display it at Christmas under my kitchen tree that has gingerbread men and cookie cutter decorations. I sit a gingerbread doll in it. It's always something a little special that I look forward to every year.

Hey you! sometimes you need a lull, after some good projects. Don't forget that great grey chest you just finished. I have the ups and downs after I finish things...by the way I think Sissie Pillow is a marketable line!

Any post with a "Sissie pillow" is a "Wow" post to me, Sissie! I like the gray and white on the dresser. That seems to be the big thing now and without even realizing that, I redid a candlestick in gray and white!

This is a wonderful post, Sissie...nothing blah about it! You did a great job on the dresser...it's totally charming, as is the sweet pillow you made. I think about tackling projects like this but seldom follow through. I'm afraid procrastination usually rules in my world...LOL!
