More Yellow!!!

Hi Bloggerettes!!  I'm still on the yellow painting kick.  No bare furniture escapes my mad paint brush and itchy fingers.....

Found this tray table like this....kinda boring, but it had potential.
I almost forgot to take a "before" picture, that's why there is paint on the bottom.

A lot of yellow paint, some mocha glaze and sore knees and voila!

I also used a rubber stamp with some french epherma...

Speaking of voila!  Get a load of this gal....baby's got back, oh yeah!

Found her just like this and thought about painting her. Maybe stenciling her seat, but then decided she looked pretty good just the way she is.....

She really likes my burlap and lace pillow.

Okay, that's it for now.
I'm working on some other projects that I hope to share with you soon.  Everyone stay cool and keep those ideas and inspiration coming!!!

I want to welcome all my new followers too.  I hope to get around to each and everyone of you soon.

~~hugs~~

Sissie

Great table, Sissie! Love the shape to it! I love the yellow you are using. It's not an "in your face" yellow and I could see this fitting in with my house. Great chair. LOL at the "baby's got back"! It is a very pretty chair and I'd probably have to think about doing anything to it myself.

Sissie, loving that creamy yellow and I know what you mean about sore knees. Sometimes it is hard to get up. That chair is gorgeous, but I would probably paint the wood if I owned it.

Ok Sissie, time to give it up, what in the heck is the name of that yellow!? It's like the perfect yellow, not too green, not too red...
And the table was just blah, and now it's adorable of course...

Pretty table, it has a really unique shape. I'm loving the yellow and that chair is dreamy. I may not paint mine right away. You know, the case of the cobblers children not having any shoes...

I don't have much to paint for Jazz right now other than an end table and a few chalkboards which I finished tonight. I've been working on a dresser for my niece and a nightstand for my sister. Both white, although I may add something to the dresser. The family better get me while I'm available, especially since I don't charge them!

My dream used to be to have a space like yours in our local Antique shop just across from the Mission Inn here in Riverside, California. It won't happen now as I have lost my zest for working...still when I see the things you do it washes over me once again.
I tend to overcrowd my home I think...and a little corner would help me turn things over...my shed is FULL, FULL, FULL!
What a sweet chair..very charming!
