Not Too Shabby....

Hi Bloggerettes!  I've been so busy all week that I just realized I haven't posted anything new for an entire week!!
This week I seem to be running into all things shabby, romantic, chippy, frenchy and lovely.
I just happened to spy these lovely Shabby Chic pillows in a thrift store.  They were dirty and the stuffing was a mess.  I took them home, washed them and gave them new inserts.....look at these pretties now!

They sure blend in well with my vintage white pillow shams.  I might not be able to give them up.

My plan is to create a "shabby" display for my booth, but I'm not sure I can say goodbye to these just yet.

I bought a sweet ladder back chair from another booth, (thanks, Gloria) and just loved the way she created an image chair cover.
I plan to show you hers a little later.

I experimented with making a little cover for this chair...

Crown image from Graphics Fairy!
I think this will fit in well with my Shabby theme.

I also found the cutest little pair of pink ruffled tie back curtains with ruffles galore.  Had to have them for my shabby theme.

The pink mercury glass reproduction candlesticks will be going along also.

So far, so good.  I think it's starting to come together.

I've been working on some pillows this weekend.  So, I think I'll throw some burlap, lace and french inspiration in with the mix...

I love this sweet little lamb image pillow....

Okay, that's it for now.
So get out there and create, make, sew, paint, photograph, repurpose, cook, write or find something wonderful and share it with us!!

~~hugs~~
Sissie

The shabby chic pillows are so pretty! On your one chair with the crown design, it had the little cystal crown sitting on it. Well, my birthday was a couple of days ago and I actually got one of those as a present from my sister in Florida! It was quite a surprise seeing it sitting on your chair! I wish I had your energy...it's so hot. It's not helping my motivation!~Hugs, Patti

Sissie- What an absolutely delightful post. I have always loved that first Shabby Chic set..it has always been one of my very favorites. Love your pillows too...and I have to say-I don't know where I've been but I have never seen pink mercury glass before. Was it made like that in the past too or is the pink just a modern take on it? LOVE IT! xo Diana

Oh Sissie, what great finds, their absolutely beautiful. I can't believe you found them at a thrift store.... how exciting. I once found a pair of alabaster lamps at a thrift store for 5:00 each, I couldn't grab them fast enough! I don't blame you I would keep them too, they go so well with your other pillows. I love your chair cover and you little lamb is just precious, I have a thing for lambs, they look so sweet! Hope you have a wonderful week!

Sissy, you know I love the shabby look! I love the pillows you found and the crown chair, I think I will copy that for a stool I am redoing. Did you use Tshirt transfer paper? I have thought of giving the Citrasolve method a try.
