Hi Bloggerettes! I've come to the conclusion that no matter how hard I try, I cannot resist "just one more mirror!"
It's not that I like looking at myself, it's just that I love the way they open up a room, reflect light and take the place of artwork.
This is my newest love....

This is my newest love....
Very old, very ornate and already painted white...
I'm still trying to decide where I'll hang it.
Okay, that' it for now. Get out there this week and create, make, sew, write, photograph, cook, bake, repurpose or find something wonderful and share it with all of us.
~~hugs~~

Sweet! I agree a mirror just lights up a room. Blessings!
Love that mirror Sissie! It looks great just leaning up against the wall.
I have mirror disease myself. Not sure why, but it seems I can't resist them! That is one sweet mirror Sissie!
I could not have resisted that either Sissie girl! It's lovely. I love mirrors for the same reason, and I need all the light I can get in my house.
hhmmm...I know where you can hang that beauty ;)
hugs...
I agree there cannot be too many mirrors. Your latest acquisition is beautiful. Bright Sparkly 2012 to you...
oh i adore multiple mirrors as well! they just speak to me! this one is gorgeous! ;)
I love unusual mirrors and frames but hubby thinks enogh is enough!
I love the way mirrors open up a room, too. I don't have a lot but I keep my eyes open for them. I would have snapped this one up, too!
Happy Weekend!
XO,
Jane
If I found mirrors like yours I would want them also! Beautiful. hugs, Linda
Me too Sissy! I have mirrors everywhere... I can't resist them, and what they do to a room. MrFractured's daughter was here, trying on clothes today, and was going to one of two mirrors in the living room, and pointed out to me that one of them is the "fat" mirror. One of them makes you look thinner than the other... From now on, i'm only gonna look at myself in the "thin" mirror!
Cindy
And a very pretty one it is !
Beautiful mirror, Sissie.
Is your profile pic new? I LOVE it!
Wow, Sissy, that is a beauty!! I should get more mirrors for my small house!
Carol

I have lots of mirrors too Sissie. I actually had someone come into my house and said it was a sign of vanity and I couldn't believe they said that! I told them it was because it made small rooms look larger and opened up the rooms, made them feel more spacious. I also love the different frames they have! Have a beautiful and reflective Sunday!~Hugs, Patti
That's one beautiful mirror Sissie!
Blessings,
Linda
You find the best mirrors, Sissie!

Sissie,
What a beautiful mirror. The Venetian one is beautiful also! You have great taste and a lovely home! Like the picture of your home done by Amy! How talented she is. Have a great 2012!

I was over on Stephanie's (Angelic Accents) and saw your photo in a comment. When I was blogging before, I visited you. Nice to see you again! And now, especially, your comment on Stephanie's post makes tons of sense. Great mirror. And the ones behind it, have me drooling. What a great idea. I'm thinkin' maybe I need me some shabby cottage mirrors to open up the place (I have a small house). Hmmm, what do you think? Nice to see you again! Jenn
HI Sissie .
Like you I love mirrors . I have many in my house. I love this one, it is gorgeous.
Have a nice day
Sissie,
I love this post!
I know what you mean.... I am addicted to wonderul old mirrors. They are simply irrisistible. The aged glass and the beautiful frames are a work of art. I can "always" find a spot for one more.
Thanks for sharing.
Elizabeth
I couldn't have passed it up either- I am a mirror freak/geek/whatever, too!;>) This one is a beauty! xo Diana
MMMMmmmmmmm....that mirror is gorgeous, Sissie! I absolutely love it! No wonder you couldn't resist bringing her home.

linen lace and lattes
Gorgeous mirror Sissie! You and I share the mirror obsession! I need more wall space.. LOL
Sissie, I so agree! The reflected light they create is just wonderful. And they're accessories that don't clutter or "fight" with anything else. They just reflect the best of what's in the room.
You have a great collection.
Hugs, Diane
I LOVE love love it! LOVE IT!
xoRebecca
So pretty because it's so different and of course white!!
That mirror is absolutely perfect! I love the color! BTW....I wanted to invite you to stop by my blog. We are having an "impossibility" challenge for 2012!
Mirror? Did someone say mirror? I LOVE it. It is just perfect for you, Sissie!
Hi Sissie!
Love the mirror. We can't have too much/many of the things we love.
Hope you have a great week!
Hugs,
Nancy
Sissie,
So happy to have you visit me and become a follower. We have much in common! I'm sure we will visit each other often.
I loved the "Baby it's cold outside" post and was wondering if you could share where you found the "Dream" glitter banner? I have looked everywhere for a large one and can't seem to find one. My daughter is getting married in the spring and I wanted to create an enchanting reception for her using the banner or something similar. Any info or suggestions would be welcome.
Best,
Elizabeth
I would not have been able to leave that one behind either! It's lovely Sissie!
Hi Sissie....I thoroughly agree with you for all the same reasons. I find it hard to pass one up as well. This one is beautiful.
xojana
Oh wow...I would of never been able to resist that mirror either! love it!
I saw your room on Betsy's Q&A post. Your room is almost identical to mine and the facade of your home is also very like mine. I used a Donald Gardner design and tweaked it a bit.
Love your blog! It's wonderful!
Hi Sissie,
Silly girl you can hang this one at my house..LOL
Wishing you a very happy and sweet New Year.
Big hugs, Elizabeth

I was looking at your older postings and saw that you posted one of my favorite places on earth...Garden Supply!..I live in Chapel Hill!.I went to one of their workshops that Trevor of Holiday Creations presented and I entered his holiday decorating contest and won!..such a small world. Your house is sooo like mine..I have a Donald Gardner Laycrest design.that is changed up a bit!!
Love this mirror Sissy! I can see why you like it!!
Hugs,
Debbie
