A little "beachy elegance!"

Hello lovely ones....are you having a good weekend....I hope so.

Since we live just four miles from the coastal beach of Ocean Isle, I find that I love decorating my home with what I like to call, "beachy elegance!"

I'll just show you some beached them decor around the house....

I love filling trays with lots of shells....
I love putting shells inside of big shells....
I found this fabulous shell table several years ago at HomeGoods. It's one of my favorite pieces.  All these tiny little shells are glued onto the table and it looks so delicate.

I added the mermaid to the bottom shelf and she's been happy there for a long time....

Pretty pillow from Pottery Barn and the bottle also from Pottery Barn.

Blue hydrangeas on the porch...

My planter of herbs are growing like crazy...

That's it for now.
Remember a new week starts tomorrow so get out there and create, make, sew, write, photograph, cook, bake, paint, repurpose, sing and dance.
And if you find something wonderful, be sure and share it with all of us.

~~hugs~~
Sissie

Love all your coastal arrangements. I grew up with vacations on Ocean Isle. That was where my parents would take us and we rented a house and my aunt and uncle and cousins came too. Good memories.

Now I want to go to the beach, Sissie! Of course, being in Ohio now makes that kind of impossible. :) That table is so pretty ~ I don't think I've seen one with shells on it before. Love the pillows. Shells on a tray are just a lovely and simple decoration that you can't go wrong with.

Your seashell table is precious! It's like lace... so pretty, and i love your little tray with overlapping shells. You are the luckiest lady in the world to live so close to Ocean Isle beach. That's where my family used to go when i was a child. We'd stay in this old weathered gray beach cottage with hardwood floors... and every night the windows would be open and you could hear the ocean. When it was dark after dinner and our bath, we'd sit on the rocking chairs on the porch, and listen to the ocean and look at the stars.., it was heaven...

I live 4 hours from the coast, but I can still hear the call of the siren. I adore shells and shell art. Now why can't my Home Goods ever get in anything like that table? Good grief...gorgeous.
