At the New House!

Hi everyone!  I've made it to West Virginia to our new house.
The movers are arriving on Tuesday to do the big unload.  They called to tell me that our load weighed 11,000 pounds!  Whew, and that was after I sorted and weeded out stuff!

Our new home is a little smaller and the ceilings are lower so it seems even smaller after living with 11 ft. ceilings.  The house is also older and needs some upgrades, so I've got my work cut out for me.  Right now I have a painter working on changing the colors of every room.  Seems as though the previous owner was all about color and I'm all about soft and neutral, so there is lots to do!

I'm so glad that I could take all of you with me!!

I just hope that I can find the sheets and pillows to put on the beds!!!  I'll check back with ya later.

                                          ~~hugs~~

I believe the most common way to choose a painter is by recommendation from friends. If they’re satisfied with the service, you can hope it would hold up for you. By the way, if you have a long and narrow room, you can consider painting the end walls with a darker shade than the long, narrow walls. This way, the darker colors will recede and will create an illusion of width. The light colors will then advance. ;) Happy painting. Hope to see some updates.

Your stuff weighed 11,000 pounds? That’s a lot of stuff! More stuff means more things to arrange and organize and lots of hard work too! Anyway, how’s everything now? I hope that you’re already done with all the renovations.
