A guilded and etched mirror from the auction!

Hi Blogger buds!  I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed all the fun and festivities.

I just want to show you my latest auction score.  I left a bid at the auction house thinking there was no way I would win this beauty but I did!!!  And here it is.....
This lovely mirror, dated in the late 1940's is in excellent condition.  I love the etching and the guilded frame.

For now it is safe from my paint brush and white paint....but we will see!!!
I still haven't found the right place for it but for now it's hanging in my entryway above the bench.
That's it for now.  Get out there this week and make, bake, create, write, photograph, repurpose, craft and find something wonderful and share it with us.

~~hugs~~
Sissie

The mirror is beautiful! I have been creating all week, mostly just using up my scrap junk. I will be giving away most my creations to the senior citizens for Bingo prizes.

Oh Sissie!!!!! The minute I saw this mirror I just sucked in all the air in the room!!!! It. is. GORGEOUS!!!!! And I love it just the way it is...yes, white is beautiful but to have hints of gold and brown around the room gives the eye a little contrast. Wishing you a very happy and healthy new year sweet friend!!!! hugs and love, Dawn
