The Moving Process Ain't Easy...

Hello Blogging Buds!  This moving process ain't easy, especially when you are my age!!!  Aches and pains in places I didn't know I had!! Whew!!

Anyway enough complaining.  I've managed to get most of the boxes unpacked and now trying to shuffle things around to find out where they fit the best.  Isn't it funny how things you had in your before house don't always work as well in the new house.  It's time to go shopping!!!!

I did clear a path through the entryway to the house and managed to stage a little side table with some mercury bling....
The wool rug is from Pottery Barn.

Remember my yellow curvy sofa.  Well it got a new look too with a creamy linen fabric.  Hard to see in this pics due to all the light from the back windows.
Ordered the postal pillows a few years ago from Restoration Hardware.

A little vignette using some natural materials.  Love it on the dining room table.

Everything meets with Gabby's approval.
I want to thank all of you for your sweet comments and well wishes.  I am trying to get back to each and everyone of you, so please be patient with me.  I really appreciate your kindness and support.

I hope to take you on a tour just as soon as I can get it together.
In the meantime, keep creating and blogging.

                                              ~~hugs~~

It seems like all your things are finding their places in your new home, Sissie! I know all to well what you are talking about ~ aches and pains-wise, and having to figure out places to put furniture. It all comes together in the end!

So happy you're all moved in and I know all about that as we have moved fifteen times over the years! Your entry way looks lovely. I love the white and mercury glass. I will miss your yellow sofa although it looks yummy in its new upholstery too. Looking forward to seeing more and please pace yourself. Moving is HARD work!

Blessings,
Sandi

Swoon. I'm not exactly sure what that means, but I think it describes your exquisite taste in décor. Can't wait to see more.
