New dining room panels.....like or not????

Okay, I ordered this drapery panel from Pottery Barn.  I'd love to know what you think.  Here I am again second guessing myself and not sure if I like it.  I think I do, then I think I don't!

It is a paisley print in creams, tans and an oatmeal color.  The panel is fully lined.  Here it is with the sunlight shining through.

If I decide to go with this pattern I will need to reorder because I ordered them about 6 inches too long.
My dining table is oatmeal from the Paula Deen collection.
So, dear ones.  I would love your thoughts and opinions.

                                   ~~hugs~~

I really like them, Sissie! They are soft looking and the pattern is not overwhelming. I love the PB drapes. I got a set for my bedroom and they hang so nicely. I'm with Mari, I like a little extra hitting the floor. These look fine to me, but I know some people just like them to skim the floor.

Oh my word, I have been going through the drapery delima too and it is so hard sometimes. If you want them to not be the focal point, but enhance the window and compliment the paint color, then I think they are absolutely perfect. If you want them to be the focal point then I think you need something with more color. See I am no help at all. Hugs, Marty

Yep...they get my vote...look really nice hanging there...I also like the "long" look myself...trouble it, they get so dusty at the bottom.

Never ask me questions, Sissy, unless you want the truth. lol I LOVE the curtains -especially if you want them to "blend". I think they add subtle texture and "warmth". They are not STATEMENT curtains- they don't shout-look at me- so, it that is what you want I'd say no.

Personally, I would use them in my home because I like things that blend and add texture without a pattern that screams at me. There you have it-you asked-I told. xo Diana

I wanted to add- I have had the same trouble with this house. The first time ever! I second and third guessed myself -returned and once even re-purchased the return. The mayor of Crazytown here!

And,now we are probably going to sell this house and downsize and start all over again. lol xo Diana

I think they look rich and elegant and are pleasant on the eyes....Now, it depends on if you wanted the drapes in that room to make a statement or not, it depends IF and where you wanted to add a splash of color......Just something to think about, I don't think there is a right or wrong

I love it, Sissy! It complements everything else. I just fell in love with that black and white check designer table cloth and it's top, the one you have on your blog topper. Love it, no I adore it!

They are gorgeous and perfect for the room. I vote YES, keep them!

They look great, if you don't like the 'puddled on the floor' look of longer curtains - how about lifting your curtain rod to nearer the ceiling. That is a great effect too
:)

I think the panels are beautiful. They're perfect with the other neutrals you have going on in your dining room. The room can definitely handle a little pattern which the panels provide.
