New drapes and gold in the entryway...

Well after a year of being in our new home I finally found some drapery panels for our eat-in kitchen area.  They are from Pottery Barn....I love their panels because they are so well made and have a custom look.

The toile fabric on the chairs compliments the gray blue pattern of these panels.
Now it's time to create a Holiday tablescape but in the meantime I'll show you a few other things.

Now don't panic.  That really is GOLD in my entryway!!! Yikes!!!
GOLD, not white.....somebody help me!!!  Why oh why am I suddenly liking gilded gold???
Mirrors were found in thrift stores and the frame is from Hobby Lobby.

I found these metal angel wings and decided to add some lacy rag garland and a vintage rhinestone brooch.  I'll be taking this to my booth.

That's it for now.  I'm off to visit your blogs to see what you've been creating.

                                                    ~~hugs~~

I'm getting into gold too! It started with my Holly wood regency bedroom. My friend the decorator said we can blame it on Downton Abby? your drapes are perfect and what a match with the chairs

Love your new drapes, Sissie. But then again I have the same ones in our master bedroom! : ) I still love them after three years. They go really well with the Duck Egg chalk paint on used on some of the furniture in that room.

You know I'm a gold girl. I love the white, but my frames and mirrors are all gold. I like the mix and those wings are amazing!
Happy Thanksgiving.

I love the gold! I have been drawn to gilded golds too. It looks great. Love your wings too and all the white tattered pretties on them.
