It's marked Lefton China and it's definitely vintage.
How about this sweet little lantern for $3.00
I just added a votive.
Now, this pretty little cabinet, I love it!
Found it at HomeGoods but I can't devulge what I paid for
it because Mr.Sissie just might read this blog.......He does
not understand "I just had to have it and it was on sale!"
Now for the piece de resistance!!!
This very shabby, rusty, chippy, oh so delightful.....
wire basket!!!! Ain't she purddy??
Got her at Miss Minnie's from one of
the dealers. She was only $8.00!!!
A galvanized container for $2. at the Habitat.....
love that place.
Of course I had to add the fleur-de-lis.
So many of you have asked me about this embellishment
so, below is a picture of the packaging.
I found mine at Walmart for $3.19 a pkg.
You cut the size you want and just use the stick enclosed
in the package to rub-on the design.
It's that simple!!
So, until next time......keep looking for treasures
and meanwhile I'll be back with more later.
~~hugs~~

I just adore everything!! But of course I sort of go for the old and chippy so I am coveting the lantern, wire basket and pail!! I will have to be on the lookout for the transfers...those are neat!

Oh, oh, oh, what wonderful finds! ROTFL, Sissie, I know what you mean!! Wait until you see what I purchased at Home Goods today! Had to have it!!! BTW, did you know if you have a HG card for every $200 you spend they send you a $10 gift certificate?!
I have yet to find those fleur-de-lis rub-ons!
((Hugs))

Hi Sissie, I'm sure I have commented on your last funny post about the girdle, but it's not there anymore. Anyways you certainly told it like it is!
Delightful finds coming from a delightful person. I very much fund of the lantern. Hey girl I can relate about your husband not knowing in fact my husband doesn't pay to much attention to things- maybe because I blend it in to well with my other decorations, but when he does find out later down the road he will mention something about it.... always wondering why I would get something like that or how much did that cost. I always tell him I've had that for some time now and always try not to mention price. He doesn't get it either!
Take Care-
I haven't tried our Habitat Store yet but hope to get there this weekend. Love the big galvanized tub and especially the embellishment you added. Thanks so much for telling us that Walmart carries them. I just love how you have added them to some of your finds with them.
I have plates that match your jar! YUM!

Good job! I have the same sugar bowl and love it.
Wow! You did a lot better than I did this week thrifting! I went to Goodwill and Vintage Values, and only scored a pair of turquoise flats and a simple green sweater! I was looking for something "new" and different for my home...if I ever get my Christmas stuff down, that is! LOL! Love the first Lefton piece you showed! What a wonderful and pretty treasure! The wire basket is really cute, too! Hope you will post how you plan to use it!
I got so tickled at your post below about the girdle. I still call them girdles, and noone my age seems to know what they are! LOL! Of course, they all wear spanx, instead. I never seem to need them on any occasion except during the summer! ....HOT!!! My husband calls it my zoot suit! By the time I get mine on, I'm too give out to go whereever I was going! LOLOL! I could really identify with your post! :)
Think we'll get any snow in the morning? Sure is cold enough for it! :) ~Rhonda
Hi Pretty Lady!
Oh my goodness...you have major thrift skills! All so gorgeous and the china piece for $5.00? I'd be squealing with delight!
I love how you gussied up your galvanized container...I'm running to Walmart pronto!
BTW...I'm still giggling about your girdle experience!
Love and hugs,
Karyn
O, Sissie, I was just thinking of coming by when your comment came in...thanks for stopping over.
O, I will arm wrestle you for that wire basket...POTTERY BARN is showing tons of them for this year. And that little lantern...I'm lovin' THAT...and the Lefton..oh, my..you did get a bargin on that. Now I can't wait until tomorrow...I am going after those rub-ons...I thought all this time you were painting them on and i was going to bed every night, with a prayer asking to let ME be able to paint those
fleur-de-lis just like Sissie....NOW...I CAN !!
Hi Sissie,
You were the queen of the thrift stores this week. I love the Lefton china piece and it look perfect for you with the pink flowers.
My favorite is the chippy basket...that's right up my alley.
Jane

Hi Sissie -
Wow you scored girl! I love the Lefton china piece, it says you all over it :) And that cabinet is adorable. I miss the great Goodwill stores I used to frequent in California (daily) There is a couple of "ok" thrift shops around these parts but you have to drive 40 minutes to get to them.

That Lefton piece is GORGEOUS! I can't believe you were able to find it all intact and for that price. What a steal!
I keep meaning to visit our Habitat store but it's quite a drive so I haven't made it yet. I love how you embellished the metal tub with the rub-on--very chic!
I can't believe how elegant that fleur de lis is! You are so creative on a dime! And that vintage tea cup is my fave of the lot.
You go girl! You can really find the best things. You are right, that basket is a keeper.
hugs
Awesome deals Sissie, we would have an awesoem time junkin together! I am definitely checking for the fleur de lis at Wally World this weekend, I love what you do with them. I just want to add that I really enjoy your blog, it is one of my favorites!
You got that wire basket for $8 ?!?!?!
Wow, that dealer clearly didn't know that those things are going for upwards of $30 pretty much everywhere else. Shhhhh, don't tell! ;-)
Great finds!

I want to go shopping with you, Sissie! WOW! Those are treasures! Love them all!
Maybe we could arm wrestle, the winner takes her pick? No? Kill joy.
Sissie!!! I want to go shopping with you! Great thrifty finds; love the Lefton China pieces (my mom had some like these long ago)! And your Homegoods cabinet is "to-die-for"! Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Coralie
P.S. Your kitties are just as sweet as sweet can be!!!
Some great finds, I just love that kind of shopping. Thanks for sharing.
Rub ons.....I thought you had stenciled. I'm on my way to Wal-Mart.
Well miss prissy sissie, you got a stash of goodies. I'm cracking up at reading about Mr. Sissie. Aren't we glad they do not go to our blogs to read teehee. I would be Banished from the puter if mine did.
Sissi... would you believe I have almost the exact same wire basket in my booth in Geronimo, Texas... small world ain't it... ;)
I found the same fleur rub ons and love them!
